BREAKING: Protesters Break Down NASS Gate, Force Way Into Premises (DETAILS)

The protest against President Bola Tinubu’s “anti-people” policies led by Organised Labour has intensified.

On Wednesday morning, the protesters forcefully entered the National Assembly complex by breaking down the first gate and then moving towards the second gate.

The Organised Labour, including the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) along with their affiliate unions, initiated the protest in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and various states across the country, such as Lagos, Abia, Plateau, Kaduna, Kano, Rivers, Zamfara, Katsina, Cross River, Ebonyi, Enugu, Kwara, Ogun, Imo, Ondo, and Edo.

The demonstrators gathered in large numbers at the Unity Fountain before marching towards the NASS Complex.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio is expected to address the protesters ahead of the scheduled screening of ministerial nominees on the same day.
