In his address, the Emir, represented by his Senior Councillor, Alhaji Abas Ahmed Fatika, emphasized that the turbaning was a recognition of the new District Heads’ rich traditional lineage and their valuable contributions to the progress of the emirate, Kaduna State, and Nigeria as a whole.

The Emir underscored the important roles these new leaders will play in enhancing the socio-economic, cultural, and religious development of the region. He urged them to leverage their experiences in promoting unity, harmony, and tolerance among their people, while advancing the emirate’s development.

Further, the Emir tasked the new appointees with safeguarding and enhancing the cultural heritage of Zazzau, stressing the need for them to contribute actively to the socio-economic and educational growth of the community. He also advised them to avoid any actions that might undermine the traditional norms and values of the people, calling on them to serve as exemplary representatives of the emirate wherever they go.

The District Heads who were turbaned include Dan Isa, Alhaji Mustapha Aliyu Shehu Idris; Sarki Dawakin Tsakar Gida, Alhaji Junaid Muhammadu; Ciroman Dawaki, Alhaji Musa Tijjani Umar; Janjuna, Alhaji Suleiman Mijinyawa; Daneji, Alhaji Salisu Hamza; Tafidan Kudu, Alhaji Lawal Mukhtar Sambo; and Tafidan Arewa, Alhaji Abdullahi Yahaya Makama.
