According to Ireporteronline, Mohbad’s father, in a recent interview with Max FM, accused his daughter-in-law, Wunmi, and her lawyer, Femi Falana, of attempting to kill him, causing him sleepless nights and fear.

In response to these claims, Falana’s law firm, represented by Taiwo E. Olawanle, Esq., issued a rejoinder on Thursday, recounting the history of Mohbad’s case since his demise in September 2023. The statement emphasized that Joseph Aloba’s focus is solely on his late son’s estate and properties.

The letter revealed that Mohbad’s father had requested Wunmi to surrender their grandson, Liam, for a DNA test. However, Falana Chambers insisted on protecting the child’s rights and advised Joseph to obtain a court order before any such action.

The response highlighted that Joseph Aloba has neglected due process, opting for cheap blackmail and interviews that defame the Falanas.

Falana, through the letter, directed Joseph Aloba to cease making defamatory comments. Otherwise, they warned of taking legal action to disprove the accusations that they posed a threat to his life or intended to harm him.

So disappointed in Falana San issuing such a threat with law suit but forgot that there was a telephone conversation where Wumi(the late wife of Mohbad)making threats against the father in-inlaw.What’s going on in Nigeria, the late singer died in the house where the wife ,the younger brother and other people were present.None of them could give the general public an account of the cause of death. They were not picked up as prime suspects. The house or apartment wasnot sealed up as a crime scene. We are watching and following with interest.
