No Mercy: Army Rains Fire On Terrorists In Zamfara, Neutralises Dozens, Burns Camp

The intense operation, part of Operation Munoz, led to the neutralisation of dozens of terrorists, destruction of their camps, and recovery of a cache of weapons and military gear.

According to reports by Vanguard, the troops advanced through Tibuki and Sabuwar Tunga villages before launching a full assault on the heavily guarded Mati hideout.

 

“The terrorists engaged the troops with fierce resistance using light arms and RPGs,” a military source disclosed. “But our soldiers responded with superior firepower and took out scores of them.”

Among the neutralised is believed to be the terror kingpin who commanded operations in the area.

In addition, three motorcycles were destroyed, and all life-support structures within the Mati camp were set ablaze.

While one soldier sustained injuries during the confrontation, he has since been evacuated to a medical facility and is in stable condition.

The Nigerian military continues to intensify operations aimed at dismantling terror cells across the region and restoring peace to affected communities.
