Police Arrest 3 For Murder, Armed Robbery, And Rape In Delta

The Delta State Police Command has apprehended a 20-year-old man, Raphael Egbo, for allegedly murdering his 19-year-old girlfriend, Jessica Uzowanne. Commissioner of Police Abaniwonda Olufemi disclosed this to reporters in Asaba, stating that Egbo was arrested by the Ozoro Divisional Police.

Additionally, the command arrested a suspected kidnapper, Ogwu Endurance, who is also accused of raping one of his victims during an armed robbery incident. Endurance, described as a serial armed robber involved in multiple kidnappings in the Abraka area, allegedly raped a 23-year-old victim during one of the robberies.

In another incident, the police arrested Nicholas Charles for the murder of Ngozi Sharon William, a family friend who was visiting his home on 10 Adizue Onochei Street in Asaba. According to Commissioner Olufemi, an altercation between Charles and William escalated to the point where Charles fatally stabbed the victim during a disagreement in the kitchen.

The commissioner condemned the acts of violence and assured the public that the police command is committed to ensuring justice for the victims and bringing the perpetrators to book.
