Video: “This Is A Dangerous Situation; I’m Urging Everyone To Cease Fire,” Says 2Baba

According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has clarified a controversial message circulating on social media amid ongoing tensions in his marriage to his wife, Natasha. Earlier on Wednesday, a brief post reading “Help me” appeared on his Instagram Story, sparking widespread concern among fans and followers.

In a video released shortly afterward, 2Baba firmly denied authoring the message and assured the public that he was in good condition. He described the public reaction as “a dangerous situation” and appealed to everyone to “cease fire,” warning that the uproar could place Natasha in harm’s way. The singer noted that whatever challenges exist in their home will be addressed privately.

Meanwhile, concerns have also been raised by his brother, Hyacinth Idibia, who posted a message urging 2Baba to allow his family to support him. Hyacinth also uploaded an audio clip of one of 2Baba’s songs, which references a self-reliant woman allegedly draining his finances. He remarked that although the lyrics were crafted to inspire, they were now playing out in reality. In his emotional note, Hyacinth lamented that his brother had “been suffering for too long,” appealing to him to accept help.
