BREAKING: Atiku’s 1973 ‘Sadiq’ WAEC Affidavit Date Lands Him In Fresh Trouble (DETAILS)

On August 18, 1973, the date Vice President Atiku Abubakar claimed to have signed an affidavit in court asserting to be the same person as Sadiq Abubakar, it has been determined that it was a Saturday.

Traditionally, Nigerian courts do not conduct proceedings on Saturdays and Sundays, as these are designated as non-working days in the country.

In the mentioned affidavit, Atiku had solemnly declared that he took the West African School Certificate Examination (WAEC) in 1965 under the name Sadiq Abubakar, and subsequently changed his name to Atiku Abubakar.

This revelation potentially substantiates allegations suggesting that the purported Sadiq Abubakar may indeed be an entirely distinct individual from Atiku Abubakar.

Despite the public statement issued on Sunday, October 10, 2023, where Atiku maintained that he and Sadiq Abubakar were one and the same, this new information raises questions about the veracity of that claim.

Atiku’s Media Adviser, Mr Paul Ibe in a statement, said among others, that: “It is on record that the change of name of the former Vice President reverting to Atiku Abubakar from Siddiq Abubakar is well documented in an affidavit dated 18th of August 1973, spanning over a period of 50 years.”
