Odegbami emphasized the importance of providing a protective shield around the team to prevent any disruptions or distractions in the lead-up to the crucial match.
Drawing on an anecdote about a triathlon athlete who stumbled just before the finish line, allowing another competitor to seize victory, Odegbami stressed the significance of maintaining focus until the very end.
He urged the NFF to refrain from permitting any unnecessary distractions around the team in the days leading up to the match, emphasizing the need for the players to concentrate and remain steadfast in their preparation efforts.
