Despite Nigeria’s three-time championship status and a recent victory against the formidable Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the Round of 16, Peseiro remains cautious about underestimating the Palancas Negras.

Speaking to the media in Abidjan on Thursday, February 1, Peseiro emphasized the competitive strength of Angola, asserting that they are not to be taken lightly. He stressed the importance of approaching the game with commitment, vigor, and a positive spirit.

Peseiro shared his perspective on the upcoming clash, stating, “It’s going to be a tough game between two teams that want to reach the final. Angola is not a big name, but they have good players and have played well in this competition. It’s going to be a tough game.”
