Adigwe, a renowned figure in the Nigerian film industry, is said to have breathed his last on Tuesday evening. The sad news was shared on Instagram by movie producer Stanley Nwoko, who expressed his condolences and announced Adigwe’s demise.
While the cause of his death is yet to be disclosed, the news has stirred a wave of grief and tributes within the Nollywood community and beyond.
Zulu Adigwe’s illustrious career spanned numerous memorable roles in iconic movies such as “Living in Bondage” and “Breaking Free,” among others. His contributions to the industry have left an indelible mark, earning him respect and admiration from colleagues and fans alike.
The passing of Zulu Adigwe adds to the string of losses that Nollywood has endured in 2024, with six other actors reportedly departing this year. Their names—Sisi Quadri, Mr. Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, Andy Best, Jumoke Aderounmu, and Junior Pope—underscore the profound impact these individuals have had on the Nigerian film landscape.
