from being able to mother their son. She recalled that the last time she had the chance to care for her child was when he was just 3 years old.

Doris expressed her heartache, explaining that while both she and her ex-husband had their faults, the most painful part was that he took their son without her consent when he was only 4 years old. She described how Ademinokan stopped taking her calls and even when he did, he would promise to call back but never did. Doris shared that her frustration and depression grew, especially when she attended a movie premiere and was told she wasn’t there to see her son. This is what eventually led them to court.
