and Public Enlightenment, Dr. Law Mefor, clarified that Nwadialo is an elected official, chosen by the people of Ogbaru and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), and not appointed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo. Dr. Mefor noted that, as a local government official, Nwadialo operates independently, and thus the state government cannot comment on his conduct.

According to Mefor, local governments have autonomy, and it falls to the people who elected him to respond to the allegations.
