Police Nab 19-Year-Old In Adamawa For Allegedly Killing Newborn

the suspect on Friday, November 8, for the alleged murder of the three-day-old baby.

According to Nguroje, the suspect’s girlfriend, who is also the baby’s mother, reported the incident, accusing him of killing the infant after she gave birth. Initial investigations revealed that the suspect was the father of the newborn. The girlfriend reportedly called him to see the child, and during his visit, he allegedly sent her on an errand, took the baby, and subsequently killed and buried him in Mubi’s Girpata area.

Commissioner of Police, Morris Dankombo, has directed the case be transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation.
