Power Surge Sparks Devastating Fire In Ilorin, 25 Shops Damaged

Kwara State Fire Service Director, Prince John Falade Olumuyiwa, expressed his condolences to affected shop owners, urging the public to prioritize safety by unplugging electrical devices when not in use.

Just a week prior, a fire destroyed several shops at Ajah Market in Lagos. The blaze broke out around 9 p.m., with Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) personnel, led by Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, swiftly containing it to prevent further damage.
