EDO 2024 Scandal: Ighodalo’s Graveyard Stunt Exposed—A New Low In Political Desperation!

I’ve rarely witnessed a candidate as desperate for electoral victory as Asue Ighodalo of the PDP. His willingness to go to any lengths to win is astonishing.

Ighodalo’s political maneuvers now include using graveyards as a platform. He’s recently made high-profile visits to the resting places of prominent Edo figures like Ambrose Alli, Raymond Dokpesi, and Chief Tony Annenih. His plans include visiting even more sites, with an ever-expanding list.

Consider his visit to Ambrose Alli’s gravesite. Before the election, there was no record of Ighodalo engaging with Alli’s family. Despite being from Esan, he had never visited them until this recent election-driven stunt. He didn’t even know the way to the late Governor’s house and had to be guided there.

Similarly, when Raymond Dokpesi passed away, Ighodalo neither visited the family nor sent any condolences. He was notably absent from the well-attended funeral.

And where is the evidence of Ighodalo paying his respects at Chief Tony Annenih’s residence? There is none.

As the election approaches, Ighodalo’s strategy seems to involve running from one graveyard to another, using the deceased as political props. This is a level of desperation that is simply unacceptable.
