Have Faith In Tinubu’s Policies, Oshiomhole Assures Nigerians

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has urged Nigerians to exercise patience with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing that the benefits of current reforms will take time to materialize.

Amidst rising inflation rates, which hit 34.19% in June 2024 according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), and the challenges posed by the floating of the naira and removal of the fuel subsidy, Oshiomhole, who represents Edo North in the Senate, remains optimistic about the administration’s policies.

During an appearance on Channels Television’s *Sunday Politics*, Oshiomhole acknowledged that some policy changes require more than a year to produce tangible results. He reassured the public that Tinubu’s approach, though initially challenging, is designed with long-term benefits in mind.

“What would the president gain by resorting to policy choices that are unlikely to deliver comfort in the long run?” Oshiomhole asked. “So, I think for me, it is about having faith that in the long run, these things will work out.”

Oshiomhole’s comments come as the country faces economic pressures, but he remains confident that patience and support for Tinubu’s reforms will ultimately lead to positive outcomes.
