This legal intervention resulted in the affected individuals being unable to assume their responsibilities in their respective offices.

The appellants in the case sought the court’s intervention to set aside two rulings related to motions on notice for the discharge of the ex-parte interim injunction, delivered by Hon. Justice Yemi Fasanmi of the Ondo State High Court.

The appeal, filed against the rulings on December 21, 2023, pertains to Suit No: AK/390/2023 involving Peoples Democratic Party vs Governor of Ondo state and three others.

The appellants also requested an order to hear their Motion on Notice, filed on December 7, 2023, for setting aside/discharging the ex-parte order of interim injunction granted against them on November 30, 2023. Additionally, they sought an order for the substantive suit to be heard before a Judge of the Ondo State High Court other than Hon. Justice Yemi Fasanmi.
