Osimhen Set To Return For Galatasaray Ahead Of Season-Defining Derby

According to Ireporter Online, Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is expected to resume full training on April 20, ahead of Galatasaray’s crucial domestic clash against Fenerbahce on April 26.

Osimhen, who suffered a forearm injury during last month’s UEFA Champions League tie against Liverpool, is reportedly progressing well in his recovery. The Premier League side won the tie 4-1 on aggregate after a 4-0 victory over Galatasaray in the second leg.

The 27-year-old international underwent surgery shortly after the match and has since been following a rehabilitation program away from the first-team squad. His timely return offers a significant boost for coach Okan Buruk, as Galatasaray battles to maintain their position in a fiercely contested title race.
