Confirming the incident to journalists, Saminu Abubakar, a legislative aide to the lawmaker representing Lere-Bula in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, assured affected residents that measures would be taken to assist them. Abubakar stated that the affected houses had been identified, and efforts would be made to provide timely assistance to repair the homes before the full onset of this year’s rainy season.
